Please be aware that recalled snacks were found yesterday in an adult care home in the Western part of the state. Therefore, sanitations in all 100 counties are being notified and ALL ACH’s will be visited, starting today, to assure that no recalled peanut butter products are on premises!!

When contacting the assisted living facilities within your county regarding recalled products related to possible Salmonella Typhimurium contamination, please use the list of recalled products provided on the FDA website: http://www.fda.gov/oc/opacom/hottopics/salmonellatyph.html#recalls.  Since new products may be added each day as the investigation unfolds, please check this site at least daily for updates.  Please contact me if any of the recalled products are found (910-840-4607)
